About The Position

This role is responsible for preparing cookie dough, batters, and other bakery products, operating commercial bakery equipment, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met. The clerk will also be responsible for packaging, labeling, record-keeping, and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaboration with team members to meet production goals and deadlines is essential.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
Ability to work in refrigerated or freezer environments
Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
Manual handling of boxes, trays, and carts.

Responsibilities

Prepare cookie dough, batters, and other bakery products according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and packaging equipment, following all safety procedures.
Bake cookies and other bakery items to company quality and appearance standards.
Package, label, and prepare finished products for distribution to retail store locations.
Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring consistency in taste, appearance, and freshness.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Maintain accurate production, packaging, and inventory records as required.
Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, and production areas.
Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing ingredients and packaging materials using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
Report equipment malfunctions, product concerns, or safety hazards to a supervisor promptly.
Work collaboratively with commissary team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
Perform other duties as assigned to support commissary operations.
