Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cooker Mechanic role in Vancouver, WA. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical certification is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
Ability to climb, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and schematics.
Understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and mathematical applications in mechanical work.
Proficiency in work order processing systems and maintenance software.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Willingness to work extended schedules, weekends, and any assigned shift during the fresh pack season (typically July through early November).

Responsibilities

Inspect and diagnose mechanical devices to identify issues and dismantle and repair or replace defective parts.
Examine parts for imperfections and wear to ensure proper functionality.
Adjust functional components and control instruments for optimal performance.
Install special functional and structural parts in machinery.
Lubricate, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to support safe and efficient plant operations.
