About The Position

Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Cook for our assisted living community located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. Calyx is looking to hire NOW Cooks who are enthusiastic about working with a small crew in our bistro, impacting the lives of seniors by preparing and presenting food. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with past experience cooking and preparing meals in a senior living setting.

Requirements

• Cooking experience a must
• Must be able to follow recipes and plate food in an attractive manner
• Must be able to understand and comply with state regulations established for food service
• Must be available to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting food
