About The Position
Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) is hiring a Cook for our Head Start center in Jefferson City, MO. This role involves purchasing food and preparing meals according to the Head Start menu. CMCA is part of a national network of community action agencies founded in 1964, with a mission to build relationships to empower people, strengthen resilience, and improve the quality of life for all members of the community. The organization has over 230 staff members across eleven counties and is dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.
Requirements
- Prefer one year of experience preparing food in a commercial setting
- Prefer High School Diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Purchasing food and preparing meals following the Head Start menu.
