About The Position

Cooks at The Carnegie provide high-quality, well-presented food to residents, guests, and associates, helping create an excellent restaurant-style dining atmosphere. The role includes preparing cuisine according to menus, production sheets, and recipes; maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen; and completing dining-service records and invoice handling.

Requirements

• Have one to three years of cooking experience.
• Must have Food Handler’s certification as required.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of creatively designed cuisine.
• Cook according to menus, production sheets, and recipes.
• Maintain the kitchen and food preparation areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Deliver all invoices to the Dining Services Director in a timely fashion.
• Maintain records of meals served and food and supplies used, as required.
