About The Position
Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Cook/Prep Cook. This role is responsible for preparing meals for residents, patients, and staff, adhering to therapeutic menu guidelines and maintaining high standards of food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency. The position emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all dietary procedures are followed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Understanding of sanitation standards
Responsibilities
- Prepares all food items for patients, residents and staff.
- Prepares special diets as needed based on the guidelines of the therapeutic menu.
- Assumes responsibility for correct diet implementation.
- Meets standards established by appropriate leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
- Delivers all products according to time schedule set for the specific item.
- Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
- Responsible for delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Completes additional tasks as assigned.
