About The Position

OHM Concession Group is a leading food & beverage operator at Kansas City International Airport, managing 18 unique restaurant and retail concepts. With annual sales of $37M+ and a team of 350+ employees, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding guest experiences, strong brand partnerships, and operational excellence in a fast-paced airport environment. We are seeking Cooks to work at high-volume airport restaurants with the opportunity to grow and advance. Work for well-known restaurants that are Kansas City based.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass pre-employment (post offer) background check.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Effective communication skills in English.
Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare food for service using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
Maintain safety standards while using knives and other food preparation equipment.
Assist in controlling product costs by ensuring proper management of product waste.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met.
Work with speed and efficiency; ability to multi-task and maintain organizational structure.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
