About The Position

The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving healthy, flavorful meals to patients and staff under the supervision of the Dietary Director. The role includes ensuring all meals meet hospital standards, assisting with various dietary tasks standards in food preparation and service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Trade or vocational school training a plus.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service.
  • Experience in food service in a health care facility preferred.
  • ServSafe is required.
  • Food handler certificate a plus.
