About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled cook to join our Food and Beverage team. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals that delight our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment will ensure that every dish meets standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and replicate dishes consistently.
  • Keen eye for quality and presentation.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy items.
  • Works well with others and contributes to a positive team atmosphere.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Execute dishes with precision and adherence to recipes.
  • Stay updated on menu items and kitchen techniques to consistently deliver the best.
  • Keep the kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Properly store food and supplies, ensuring everything is labeled and stored at the correct temperatures.
  • Work efficiently to meet service demands while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and reporting shortages.
  • Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure food is safe for consumption.
  • Regularly clean and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the General Manager promptly.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and work ethic.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff.
  • Assist with training new team members as needed.
