About The Position
Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a seasonal Cook to join our team at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. As a Cook, you will partake in important food preparation for guest orders and communicate with serving team members. Nu Stadium is a state-of-the-art soccer stadium and entertainment destination in South Florida, opening in 2026 as the future home of Inter Miami CF. Delaware North will lead stadium concessions and premium food and beverage services, delivering innovative culinary experiences that celebrate Miami’s vibrant culture while elevating classic stadium favorites. The venue will host world-class soccer matches, concerts, and live entertainment year-round.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of previous experience in a back-of-house food service position
- Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
- Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements
Responsibilities
- Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, the freshness and quality of all menu items are maintained, and all products are to proper specifications
- Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
- Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory
