We are proud to be Nationally Accredited and are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team in Southern Maryland. This role involves preparing high-quality food items for our residents and ensuring all food safety standards are met.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in quantity food production.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maryland Food Handler’s Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds in a prompt courteous manner to any questions or concerns.
• Under minimal supervision, independently performs advanced cooking duties in preparing food items to be served to customers.
• Sets up the steamtable on time to prevent delays in the tray line.
• Ensures food temperatures are maintained at appropriate temperatures per state and federal regulations; monitors temperatures throughout meal service.
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other food for consumption in eating establishments.
