About The Position

Woodlands Senior Living Hillside Terrace is seeking a Cook to join their dining team. This is a part-time position where the cook will prepare meals for seniors, work in a kitchen environment, and serve residents with compassion and respect.

Requirements

Experience in food service, restaurant, healthcare, assisted living, or a commercial kitchen environment preferred.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to established menus and residents' dietary needs.
Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment and follow all food preparation procedures.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards in compliance with regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies from approved vendors.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
Provide dining services that support resident preferences, choices, and overall quality of life.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.
