About The Position
We are seeking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at a large senior living community in Marana, AZ. Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.
- ability to obtain a fingerprint card and pass a drug test and background check
- Safe food handling techniques are required
- Ability to read and understand recipes
- Work in a team environment
- Work flexible shifts
- Handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups, preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of all basic food production skill sets with the ability to perform these error-free and meet the company quality standards
- Prepares and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized manner
