Requirements

• Proven cooking experience (line cook, prep cook, etc.).
• Knowledge of health and safety sanitation regulations (e.g., ServeSafe certification).
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Organization and the ability to keep up with high-volume, high-pressure demands is a must.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior living communities, hotels, catering background.
• English and Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, cutting, measuring, and mixing ingredients; prepping food for service.
• Operating equipment like grills, fryers, and ovens to prepare food items according to recipes.
• Ensuring food is properly presented, garnished, and served at the correct temperature.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, complying with health regulations.
• Storing food at appropriate temperatures, labeling items, and checking stock levels.
