The Cook is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious meals and snacks to children, adhering to dietary guidelines, program requirements, and food safety regulations. This role ensures meals that support children's developmental and health needs while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment. The Cook must maintain compliance with Federal Head Start Performance Standards, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services licensing requirements, and local/state rules and regulations.
