About The Position

The Cook is responsible for preparing and executing food orders in accordance with established recipes and culinary standards. Key responsibilities include: Prepare and plate food orders according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality with each service Coordinate order timing and execution to facilitate efficient pick-up and service delivery Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station and storage areas in compliance with health and safety regulations Implement effective waste management practices through proper food rotation, storage protocols, and portion control to optimize operational efficiency Monitor and maintain inventory levels at designated par amounts, placing timely stock orders to ensure adequate supplies Adhere to all established safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a secure and compliant kitchen environment

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) months of professional cooking experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to maintain standing and/or walking throughout the duration of assigned shifts
  • Capacity to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
  • Physical capability to perform essential job functions including reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist
  • Commitment to obtaining and maintaining all necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by the position and applicable regulations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in adhering to health, safety, and sanitation protocols within a kitchen environment
