About The Position
Fairview is seeking a Cook for Woodwinds Hospital located in Woodbury, MN! This position offers a guaranteed 64 hours per 2-week pay period and is benefit eligible! This position will involve leadership/supervisor tasks from time to time. Prepare food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality. Schedule Week 1 Wednesday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Thursday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Friday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Week 2 Tuesday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Wednesday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Thursday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Saturday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm Sunday 11:00 am- 7:30 pm
Requirements
- 1 year Relevant experience
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
- Basic math skills.
- Certified or willing to become certified for food safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.
- Develops and tests recipes as directed.
- Completes all documentation related to production
- Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures
- Follows employee health guidelines to prevent disease transmission.
- Follows procedures to prevent food contamination.
- Coordinates and communicates with all internal customers in all service areas.
- Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.
- Takes responsibility for self and others in work area.
- Contributes to a safe work environment
