About The Position

As a new addition in our fastest growing business vertical, Legends designed, built and operates Sky View Observatory (“SVO”), an innovative guest experience on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center. SVO will set a new standard in the observatory experience in Seattle. Breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views including Mt. Rainier, Bellevue.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant, catering, or food service environment
  • Proactive, organized, and able to prioritize tasks while working under pressure in a dynamic setting
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, prep lists, and menus
  • Basic math and communication skills in English
  • Team-oriented mindset, adaptability, and the ability to perform in a high-volume kitchen environment with close collaboration among staff
  • Standing for extended periods, walking long distances
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and move items weighing at least 30 pounds
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and complete all required safety training

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a professional, positive attitude while delivering high-quality food service in a fast-paced environment
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including prep, sanitation, and end-of-day reconciliation
  • Follow daily prep lists and timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare food according to standardized recipes while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including storage spaces and equipment
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu offerings, including specials and dietary considerations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service
  • Monitor inventory levels, complete weekly counts, and recommend items for ordering
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards at all times
  • Adapt to changing assignments and support different areas based on business needs
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
