About The Position

Rydal Park & Waters, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a Cook to join our team! This position is every other weekend and every other Friday 11:30am - 7:30pm. The Cook’s primary objective is the preparation of food items to ensure high standard of quality and quantity to meet the needs of the residents. You would be handling food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards. Rydal Park prides itself on offering only the best of the best when it comes to service and care for our residents. This includes all food created by our team. Cooking meals from scratch for our fine dining restaurant as well as our assisted living and skilled nursing departments, we are looking for experienced cooks to add to our team.

Requirements

• Scratch cooking experience (must have)
• Fine dining experience (must have)
• Always looking to gain knowledge from your cooking experiences
• Care about the quality of food you create and offer
• Understand and properly follow sanitizing procedures

Nice To Haves

• Culinary education preferred
