This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules. The cook will utilize kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies in accordance with acceptable and economical cooking methods. Key responsibilities include ensuring meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner, storing foods safely and economically, cleaning the dining area and kitchen facilities and equipment, and maintaining a high degree of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area. The role also involves maintaining an inventory of kitchen food and supplies to meet needs and receiving donated goods and processing gifts-in-kind documentation.
