About The Position

As a Cook, you provide the fuel that keeps our teams running and help meet the important nutritional needs of our patients.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years previous experience in related field
• Experience within a clinical setting and/or working with large batch cooking

Responsibilities

• Prepare food and baked goods following the daily assignments; maintain sufficient supplies of hot and cold foods for daily needs; assist Senior Cook in food preparation as requested
• Demonstrate excellent level of customer service, assist as needed and answer any questions to the best of your ability
• Follow all departmental HAACP procedures including logging of all temperatures
• Ensure all equipment used is cleaned to code standards
• Maintain sufficient supplies of hot and cold foods for daily needs.
• Assists Senior Cook in food preparation as requested.
• Follows all departmental HAACP procedures including logging of all temperatures.
• Cleans all equipment used in accordance with New York State Sanitation Code, Chapter 1, Part 14.
• Responsible for attending all scheduled meetings and retaining all In-service information requested
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
