About The Position

The Cook I is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food items while supporting daily kitchen operations in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1–2 years of culinary or kitchen experience preferred
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen operations
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices
• Ability to work independently within assigned station responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
• Independently manage assigned kitchen stations during preparation and service periods
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely, organized, and consistent manner
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
