We are currently hiring a Cook at our facility in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous food preparation experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and ability to operate kitchen equipment preferred
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire

Responsibilities

• Slice and chop food according to meal requirements.
• Prepare salads and portion desserts into containers.
• Stock juices and milk, and assist the Lead Cook when needed.
• Serve meals to clients and ensure timely placement of food on serving line.
• Follow assigned menu using sanitary guidelines.
• Restock cups, napkins, forks, and spoons as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Clean table tops and dining area after each meal.
• Record daily temperatures of the refrigeration system and food.
• Perform cleaning duties assigned by supervisor, including sweeping and mopping.
• Accept food deliveries and check in orders correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.
