About The Position
The Cook is responsible for the preparation and cooking of food items for patients, cafeteria and catering, with emphasis on quality. Follows strict sanitation guidelines set up by the State of Texas Health Department. Texoma Medical Center, a 414-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Our main campus is located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth area and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. Requirements
- Institutional cooking experience required (1 - 3 years).
- Food handler's permit required upon hire.
- Must be able to read and comprehend.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
- Typing and basic computer skills preferred.
