About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking a Part-time Cook to join their team at their senior living community in West Saint Paul, MN. This is a part-time position that involves a mix of full and half shifts. The community has 32 beds in Memory Care and Assisted Living. The role is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults and enjoys working in the kitchen. Menus will be planned in advance, and the cook will be responsible for cooking and clean-up.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Related experience in a Cook, Chef, Dietary Aide, or Server role highly preferred
- Experience in a Senior Living community highly preferred
- Dependable and reliable
- Passionate about the well-being of our elderly community
- Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Detail-oriented
- Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction
Responsibilities
- Cooking meals according to planned menus
- Performing clean-up duties in the kitchen
