Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne.

Requirements

  • Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties
  • Minimum of 1 year food service experience or a combination of formal education and experience beyond high school.
  • Intermediate language, intermediate math, intermediate reasoning ability.
  • Ability to maintain a professional positive image and to work effectively with the public.
  • Ability to maintain a fast pace of work.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares food according to guidelines.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Operates, cleans and sanitizes equipment.
  • Supplies high quality and attractive food
  • Assists supervisor in ordering JIT foods/supplies.
