About The Position
Cook CountryHouse Residence | Elkhorn, NE | Full-Time Looking for Great Hours, Meaningful Work, and No Late Nights? At CountryHouse Elkhorn , an Agemark Senior Living community, we’re looking for a dependable Cook who enjoys preparing great food and creating positive dining experiences. Requirements
- At least one year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience.
- A dependable, team-oriented approach and a passion for serving others.
- Ability to communicate and work well with residents and team members.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work scheduled shifts and help keep dining services running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Great Meals: Cook fresh, flavorful meals according to menus, recipes, and residents’ dietary needs.
- Create Positive Experiences: Help make mealtime something residents look forward to each day.
- Support Special Events: Assist with meals for celebrations, community events, and special gatherings.
- Keep It Safe & Clean: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Work as a Team: Partner with dining team members and other departments to keep meal service running smoothly.
