About The Position

Consolidated Management is seeking a Cook for the Boone County Jail. This is a great part-time job with pay up to $18 per hour, depending on experience, and offers 25-30 hours per week. The shifts are from 8 am to 1 pm, with no early mornings or late nights. The work environment is described as fun, relaxed, and stress-free, with a small and easy-to-clean kitchen. You will not interact with the jail or inmates. Additional benefits and pay for holidays are offered.

Requirements

• Every other weekend availability.
• Flexibility with schedule when needed.
• Great attendance.

• Ability to stay busy and keep things clean.
• Understanding of food safety and cleanliness importance.
• Ability to perform necessary tasks during difficult periods.
• Cooking experience (including home cooking) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality meals (using easy recipes) for approximately 20 trays on average.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.
• Stay busy and keep the kitchen clean.
• Be flexible with the schedule when needed.
• Maintain great attendance.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Be willing to do what it takes during challenging times.
