About The Position

Coleman Care Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join their team. This is a permanent, part-time, unscheduled position. The hiring rate for this role is $23.04 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Schlegel Villages is redefining elder care through innovation, Village design, and culture change, with a mission to provide holistic healthcare in a home environment. Requirements

• Be a graduate of Chef Training or Culinary Management Diploma from an accredited college
• Possess a food safety certification

Nice To Haves

• Acquired a Red Seal designation
• Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
• Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector

Responsibilities

• Be able to lift up to 35lbs
