About The Position

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on cooking or culinary experience required.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to assist with cleanup and other kitchen responsibilities as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• A genuine desire to provide great food and service to seniors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, flavorful meals according to menus, recipes, and resident dietary needs.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served safely, consistently, and on time.
• Learn residents’ preferences and help make dining an enjoyable part of their day.
• Assist with special meals, celebrations, and community events.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and in compliance with food safety standards.
• Work closely with the dining team to keep meal service running smoothly.
