About The Position

Come and join our warm and friendly dynamic team at Hampton Ridge Healthcare. We are looking for an experienced Full-time Cook in our Dietary Department. We offer medical, dental, vision and matched 401k and PTO.

Requirements

• Ability to work as a team player in a professional manner
• Proven experience
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Nice To Haves

• Preferred knowledge of diet textures such as chop, ground and purees
• Will train if needed
• Serv Safe certification

Responsibilities

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow the food service director
• Able to understand the production sheets and diets
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
