About The Position
The Cook helps to prepare and cook foods served to Vista Del Mar residents and staff.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year previous experience in a food service environment
Responsibilities
- Prepares food in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Sets up and closes food station(s)
- Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service that meet outlined standards
- Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items
