About The Position

Beat The Bomb is seeking a Part-Time Cook for its new Houston location, opening in early 2025. The Cook will be responsible for food service, creating a unique experience for customers and team members. This role requires adherence to recipes and food safety guidelines, with an understanding of the overall Beat The Bomb operation. The ideal candidate will embody the company's values, be comfortable with a hands-on and potentially messy environment, and possess a strong aptitude for culinary execution. Availability on weekends is mandatory.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends
• Serve Safe certified or willing to take courses to be certified
• Must be constantly on your feet and in motion
• Ability to properly execute all recipes
• Ability to follow all food safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Prep Food per recipe
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Complete appropriate time/temp checklists
• Clean and Sanitize kitchen at beginning and end of shift
• Prepare food items to spec and according to tickets
• Wash, sanitize and store all plateware, glasses and kitchen equipment
• Empty all Kitchen and Bar trash when necessary
• Assist with FOH duties during down times
