About The Position
A unique treatment facility where Youth and families find Hope! We are Changing lives, saving families. Are you passionate about serving others? Are you ready to make a difference in adolescent Lives? This position works under the direction of the Food Services Manager. Follows planned menus, prepares meals and documents meal services. This is a safety sensitive position where operating machinery. This is a safety sensitive position when around machinery or patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have a knowledge of basic food preparation principles, quantity production techniques, portion control and service methods
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe successfully
- Must understand the philosophy, policies and regulations of the nutrition program
- Knowledge of Child Nutrition Program requirements is essential
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Must have the ability to read and understand government regulations
- Ability to effectively respond to questions from managers, patients and the general public
- Must have a basic understanding of calculation of figures
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Maintain a current tuberculosis skin test
