About The Position
Harrison Bay Senior Living is looking for a Cook to join their growing team. This role is responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. The Cook becomes family and impacts the lives of residents in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. Harrison Bay Senior Living is a beautiful facility located in Mound, MN, offering a lakeside work environment with 72 total units across memory care, assisted living, and independent living.
Requirements
- Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
- Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
- Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
- Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
- Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
