About The Position

The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Cook to join their Retirement team. This is a Temporary Full-Time position with operating hours from 0600-1430, totaling 75 hours biweekly. The hiring rate for this role is $22.82 per collective agreement/employee association agreement. Requirements

Graduate of Chef Training or Culinary Management Diploma from an accredited college
Food safety certification
Ability to lift up to 35lbs
Caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members
Understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the COOK role

Nice To Haves

Red Seal designation
Understanding of therapeutic diets
Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to the retirement and long-term care sector

Responsibilities
