Apply for a position with us, and see how your work can improve lives. Prairie View in Hector is looking for Cook to join our team. Wage Range: $14.00 - $15.00 / hr. Wage depends on previous experience. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train you! Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday. Current open positions: Part-time Evening. The primary purpose of this position is to work as part of the team to ensure quality and safe delivery of meal services. The Cook works under the direction of the Food Service Supervisor to prepare meals for clients residing in the Assisted Living and Memory Care settings of Prairie View.
Requirements
- Ability to deal with and understand capabilities of customers, patients, and residents.
- Knowledge and practices food handling safety.
- Must be able to work efficiently, quickly, and safely to provide meals and snacks on time.
- Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required.
- All necessary training will be provided.
