About The Position

Gila River Resorts & Casinos is hiring cooks at all experience levels to prepare high-quality hot and cold food items for banquet operations, restaurant outlets, and team member dining areas. The role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to an exceptional guest experience in a resort and casino kitchen environment. Cook levels include Cook 1 (experienced), Cook 2 (intermediate), and Cook 3 (beginner). Prep cooks, line cooks, banquet cooks, and aspiring culinary professionals are welcome to apply. Cooks prepare menu items using standardized recipes and techniques, work across multiple kitchen stations, and support kitchen operations through preparation, stocking, and cleanliness. They maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards and follow the GILA WAY: Greet, Interact, Listen, Appreciate our guests.

Requirements

Strong teamwork, communication, and guest service skills.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic to advanced cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
