We are currently hiring a per diem Cook for Dietary and Food Services with the flexibility to cover our AM and PM shifts as needed at Fremont Hospital. The Cook provides support critical to the successful operation of the hospital and is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients and facility staff according to the approved diet manual and production sheets. Functions include general oversight to the successful and safe operation of the kitchen and its staff for timely execution of meals. The kitchen also provides on-unit snacks and maintains par levels. Proper safe food handling and kitchen safety protocols must be always followed and monitored for compliance by other staff.
