About The Position
National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 28 years of industry experience, is seeking reliable, hardworking Cooks to support our client’s facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018. As a Cook, you will play a key role in food preparation and production while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Previous cooking experience required
- Must have and wear slip-resistant shoes
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Available to start immediately
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food in large quantities following standardized recipes
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are met
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements
- Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment
- Assist with inventory management and waste reduction efforts
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and production-ready
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
