About The Position

Creative Dining Services at Kettering University is seeking a full time Cook. The Cook will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, delicious food that meets our customers' expectations. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment and contribute to a positive dining experience. This role requires attention to detail in following recipes and presentation standards to uphold our brand reputation. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Requirements

Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Prepare various foods according to established recipes and quality standards.
Assemble and cook meals to order, ensuring correct ingredients and cooking times are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
Collaborate with team members to manage order flow during busy periods and ensure timely delivery.
