About The Position

Methuen Village is hiring a Cook for its Dining team. The Cook prepares and plates food for meals and special events and accommodates residents’ dietary needs as required. The team provides customer service and dining experiences for senior residents in a safe, home-like work environment. This is a full-time role with rotating days and an every-other-weekend commitment. The starting rate is $20 per hour. The position is located at Methuen Village, 4 Gleason Street, Methuen, Massachusetts.

Requirements

At least 1–2 years of experience as a cook in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
Punctuality and reliability.
Ability to lift trays and dishes and occasionally move dining tables and furniture.

Nice To Haves

Food Safety certification is preferred.
