About The Position

At Home Again Assisted Living, our cooks do more than prepare food - they help create moments of joy and comfort for our residents every single day. If you love to cook, care about people, and enjoy being part of a positive, team-oriented environment, we'd love for you to join us. This is a FULL TIME position with hours from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Requirements

• A warm, dependable person who enjoys working with older adults.
• Experience in food prep or cooking (professional or personal).
• A calm, flexible attitude - you're steady even when it's busy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, home-style meals that nourish and delight our residents.
• Follow residents' dietary needs and doctor/nutritionist recommendations.
• Keep the kitchen spotless and organized to meet safety and health standards.
• Occasionally create special meals for events and celebrations.
• Be an essential part of our residents' daily lives.
