About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Cook performs duties related to preparing and serving meals for patients, staff, and guests. Duties may include preparing food items for patient and retail food services according to standard recipes; portioning and garnishing food; setting up food for service; display cooking; and providing setup and service. The Cook cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas between uses and maintains accurate production records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four to six months of prior institutional or commercial quantity cooking experience.

• Vocational training in Culinary Arts.
