The role:The Cook prepares, seasons, and cooks meals for hospital patients aged 5 to 65+, as well as employees and visitors. Reviews menus to determine the types and quantities of meats, vegetables, soups, salads, and desserts needed. Plans the cooking schedule collaboratively with the supervisor and/or dietician to ensure timely meal service. Consults with dieticians regarding special diet preparations and the appropriate use of leftovers.
