About The Position

As a Cook at Jia, you will bring skill and speed to one of the most dynamic kitchens on property. Our four-diamond Asian Fusion restaurant is known for bold flavors, elegant presentation, and unforgettable guest experiences. You will be at the heart of it all. From intricately plated dishes to fast-paced service, your role helps bring the menu to life. This is a high-volume, high-standard kitchen where every plate tells a story. Requirements

  • Meets the minimum age requirement of 18+ years of age
  • 2+ years of culinary experience in a line cook setting preferably
  • Demonstrates experience on fry, sauté, grill, and other stations around the kitchen

Responsibilities

  • Show your culinary passion by crafting various menu items while following set recipes and standards.
  • Consistently maintain proper stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation of back-of-house areas.
  • Ensure guest safety by following proper food handling procedures.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of fine dining culinary techniques
  • Practice seafood handling skills and shuck oysters as needed
