Requirements

Previous cooking experience preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
Understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a healthcare or senior living setting.
Culinary certifications.
Experience with large-scale food production.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and established standards.
Ensure food quality and presentation meet Brookdale's standards.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Assist with inventory and ordering of food supplies.
Collaborate with dining services team to ensure smooth operations.
