The Cook position at TriHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is responsible for delivering superior quality in all aspects of their work, treating others with respect, and being a results-oriented team player. This role involves preparing food for patients, staff, and guests, and may include general cleaning of cooking and eating areas. In the absence of the Manager, the Cook will supervise dietary staff, ensuring adherence to facility and departmental policies, as well as proper sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures. The role requires accepting and understanding instructions, providing high-quality food preparation and service, cleaning and maintaining equipment, maintaining food production and portion control standards, demonstrating a willingness to assist, and taking initiative to solve problems.
