(PART-TIME) COOK
About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Part-Time Cook at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas. AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a current ServSafe certificate.
- Have some kitchen experience, specifically in a residential setting
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Must have a clean driving record as well as an active driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service experience
- Current ServSafe certification
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve nutritious, great-tasting meals for the youth and staff at the facility.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area.
- Work collaboratively as an active member of the food services team.
