About The Position

A Cook who excels in this role: Knowledge of food sanitation and safety (HACCP Servsafe Certificate), Knowledge of food quality through the use of established procedures and guidelines, Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department, Ability to motivate personnel, problem-solve effectively and handle stress in a positive manner, Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel, medical staff, hospital administration, and all hospital departments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Three Years experience in food services hospital setting preferred
  • Ability to be ServSafe Certified within 6 months of hire. Also, must re-certify every 3 years.
